AS IS, WHERE IS

A self-funded group show of the royal academy of arts graduates of 2022.

We are a huge group from different corners of the world, operating from three divisions (Autonomous, Painting & Printing, and Sculpture) each with our own interests, skills, work processes, and approaches. Our work populates the empty building at Verheeskade 321. "As Is" is defined in the Cambridge dictionary as the state in which something is at the moment. We imagine that "As Is" implies an attitude that could be considered candid, raw, or perhaps unapologetic to what is being presented. We believe that this candor reflects how our exhibition came about, despite all the obstacles encountered during the process of making this exhibition a reality.
